About The Living EIDM ToolMap
The Living EIDM ToolMap is an open-access, web-based repository of digital tools designed to assist policymakers and knowledge brokers to facilitate Evidence-informed Decision-Making (EIDM).
With this ToolMap, users can easily find, search, and add new digital tools that support the various processes from identifying evidence needs to desseminating and using the evidence.
The toolMap was developed to :
- Enhance access to existing digital tools that are used in various EIDM processes.
- Reduce the time spent locating and searching for appropriate tools to use in the EIDM process.
- Encourage researchers and software developers to add new relevant tools.

Locating the tool
By clicking on the intersecting cell of a specific row (EIDM) process and column (Feature), users can access the tool they want to use.
Links to the tools
To obtain the link to the tool and associated publications, the user has to click on the tool.
Using Filters
Users can filter for tools that are open source or paid-for, automated or semi-automated, and allow or don't allow for gender consideration.
The Search function
Users can conduct a quick search by typing the name of the tool to locate a particular tool.
