    Overview

    BibliZap is an open-source, fully automated citation searching engine designed to support systematic, bidirectional citation searching with multi-level expansion. The tool is implemented in Rust, a modern, memory-safe programming language optimized for performance and reliability, enabling efficient processing of large citation networks. It leverages the Lens platform (https://www.lens.org), which aggregates citation data from CrossRef, OpenAlex, PubMed, PubMed Central, and CORE.
