Commercial meta-analysis software with a spreadsheet interface
Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) is a powerful computer program for meta-analysis. The purpose of meta-analysis is to combine and empirically analyze multiple studies on the same topic to discover overarching results. It has a wide range of choices for analyzing different forms of data, such as estimating effect sizes, constructing forest plots as well as high-resolution plots, plotting the distribution of the true effects, comparing effect sizes of different subgroups, running meta-regression, running moderator analyses, and detecting the presence of bias. In addition, many other computational models are provided, including the Schmidt and Hunter, Mantel-Haenszel, and inverse-variance models. While CMA can handle heterogeneity in data, reviewers should be careful when interpreting such data.
