Better systematic review management
Covidence is a web-based tool designed to streamline the process of conducting systematic reviews. It machine learning and rule-based algorithms to streamline processes such as screening, data extraction, and deduplication. Covidence uses an active learning model that sorts and orders studies in terms of relevance, based on previous screening decisions. Covidence can automatically detect and delete duplicates studies as, they are imported into the software. Additionally, the tool automatically retrieves full text pdfs of open access studies. Covidence also integrates the Cochrane RCT classifier, that automatically tags Randomized Controlled Trials( RCTs) from imported studies. On the other hand, Covidence does not show what studies have been excluded after screening at both title and abstract and Full-text screening, which limits any further assessments on the excluded studies.
