Leaf tool is an open-source, web-based application designed for cohort discovery and data querying within clinical and biomedical research settings. Through a simple, user-friendly interface, Leaf enables researchers to build complex queries using filters like diagnosis codes, medications, laboratory results, demographics, and procedures. The interface uses a drag-and-drop system, where researchers specify criteria, and Leaf dynamically refines the cohort in response to the inputs. This allows users to visually construct and refine searches.
