Concept mapping and thematic analysis of text
Leximancer is a text mining and analytics software tool designed to conduct quantitative content analysis. It uses natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques to identify key themes, concepts, and their relationships within the data. It conducts a thematic analysis and a relational (or semantic) analysis of the interview data. The tool uses a combination of techniques such as Bayesian statistics that record the occurrence of a word and connects it to the occurrence of a series of other words. It then visualizes the word frequency counts and co-occurrence counts of concepts present in the transcripts of the narrative interviews using network analysis.
