Literature map (Litmap) is a web-based platform that provides a graphical representation of literature reviews and allows users to visualize and explore the relationships between different concepts and ideas in a given body of literature. Users choose an article or a set of articles that represent the topic or field of interest. Users can also search by keyword, author, DOI, PubMed ID or arXiv ID. Utilizing AI-driven semantic analysis, this algorithm finds articles with similar content based on titles and abstracts, which may include lesser-known papers that are not heavily cited. This algorithm analyzes author collaborations to find articles published by the same authors, helping users identify key researchers and their contributions to a field. The resulting map allows users to see the relationships between different concepts and ideas, identify key themes and trends, and explore the literature in a more intuitive and interactive way
