They set the project's parameters, including name, description, and the preferred workflow (e.g., single review, dual independent review, or a custom method). The web portal enables users to upload search results from various biomedical databases in multiple file formats (such as XML or RIS). A sophisticated built-in engine automatically detects and removes duplicate citations from the dataset. Project owners can invite team members via email and assign specific roles (reviewer, adjudicator, principal reviewer) to manage permissions and distribute work effectively. The web interface provides a central dashboard for monitoring team activity and project progress. The platform utilizes machine learning to learn from the team's screening decisions, prioritizing references and presenting the most relevant articles first, thereby significantly reducing review time. _x000D_ _x000D_ Reviewers utilize a dedicated screening page with options to include, exclude, or add notes and tags to citations, often using keyboard shortcuts for efficiency.
