Detailed Analysis of PubMed Search results
PubReMiner is a tool that helps you search for scientific articles in a database called PubMed and analyze the most common words or terms used in the search results. PubReMiner will query pubmed with your specified searchquery, get all abstracts and generate frequency tables. It allows one to directly enter, for example, a set of relevant PMIDs and determine high frequency words and subject headings assigned to those specific records, and can also be used to determine the most prolific authors on a topic. One limitation is that it only lets you search using one subcategory of a MeSH term at a time. It doesn't allow searching for deeper or more specific subcategories within that term.
