Desktop support for planning and running systematic reviews
StArt is a tool provides features that help manage various steps involved in systematic reviews. The tool allows for protocol development where it assists users define key words for the search strategy and defining the inclusion and exlusion criteria. It allows for searching of studies from databases integrated within the tool such as Web of Science, IEEE, ACM AND Scopus. Studies can be imported using the BibTex format while also allowing for manual insertion of studies The tools allows for duplicates to be removed automatically. After reviewers screening studies, data extraction is conducted manually using an information extraction form. The tool assists in summarizing the data and provides a text editor to draft a summary document
