Extracts and interprets tables from research papers
TEXUS is developed as a coherent framework utilizing a task-based end-to-end approach, focusing on a set of well-defined tasks, data models, and interfaces between tasks. The approach is aimed at making the contents of tables more widely usable by automatically extracting their structure and data. The tool uses a table-oriented document model and a series of algorithms for automated table extraction and understanding.
