Extract data from charts
WebPlotDigitizer is a web-based utility to extract data from images of charts. It can also be used to make simple measurements in images.s. Users need to load the chart images or plots into the tool in a PNG or JPEG format. Users can opt for automatic data extraction algorithms or manually click on data points to extract values. The tool supports a wide variety of chart types: XY (line, scatter), bar charts, histograms, polar diagrams, ternary diagrams, and circular chart recorders. The tool allows multiple images at once, including PDF documents. It, however, has limitations, including only simple and grouped bar charts with distinct solid colors being supported by the tool, grayscale or black and white charts or charts with fill patterns or gradients are more likely to fail, and low-resolution images with small text are more likely to fail.
