Systematic Review Facility (SyRF) is a free online app for performing systematic and meta-analysis of preclinical studies/animal studies. The SyRF app has in-built tools such as a search tool that automatically updates your review when new papers are published. It employs machine learning to assist screening of research papers. It supports automatic annotation that helps users identify key information for quality assessment of studies. The app also automatically assesses the risk of bias in studies. However, data extraction is conducted manually by two independent reviewers. The app uses dedicated external meta-analysis tool to perform meta-analyses and creates visualization of results. Automated data retrieval with a pre-defined search string has been enabled for PubMed in the current version of the app and there are plans to extend this feature across additional databases. Additionally, the app has a deduplication function that automatically removes duplicates by comparing PubMed identification numbers as new records are retrieved, with plans to extend this feature across additional databases

Cognitive Treatments Article Library and Evaluation (CogTale) is an online repository of cognitive intervention studies for older adults. It operates by curating and organizing information from published research articles on this topic. Users can access the database to search for evidence relevant to their needs, using filters like intervention type, population characteristics, and study design. CogTale goes beyond a simple search engine by providing detailed summaries of each study, including methodological features, risk of bias assessments, and key findings. This allows users to quickly screen and appraise the quality of individual studies. Furthermore, CogTale facilitates the synthesis of research findings by enabling users to conduct meta-analyses directly within the platform
