The cRhona application is a “clone” of an evidence intermediary, integrating the latest Artificial Intelligence technologies to amplify its efficiency, accuracy, collaboration, coordination, and transparency in rapid evidence synthesis approaches. In the cRhona application, policymakers, evidence intermediaries, and domain experts collaborate and coordinate to ensure that the evidence synthesis is just-in-time when it is needed, comprehensive and high quality even in very urgent situations, e.g., less than 48 hours.
A large language model (LLM) used to automate title/abstract screening in systematic reviews by classifying articles as included or excluded based on their title, abstract, and eligibility criteria, providing both decisions and reasoning.
Systematic Review Facility (SyRF) is a free online app for performing systematic and meta-analysis of preclinical studies/animal studies. The SyRF app has in-built tools such as a search tool that automatically updates your review when new papers are published. It employs machine learning to assist screening of research papers. It supports automatic annotation that helps users identify key information for quality assessment of studies. The app also automatically assesses the risk of bias in studies. However, data extraction is conducted manually by two independent reviewers. The app uses dedicated external meta-analysis tool to perform meta-analyses and creates visualization of results. Automated data retrieval with a pre-defined search string has been enabled for PubMed in the current version of the app and there are plans to extend this feature across additional databases. Additionally, the app has a deduplication function that automatically removes duplicates by comparing PubMed identification numbers as new records are retrieved, with plans to extend this feature across additional databases
